SolarTrio® is a Hybrid solar module that can produce heat, hot air and electricity simultaneously. Standard PV-modules convert about 15-18% of the solar energy they are exposed to into electricity. The remaining solar energy converts to heat and is lost as the heat dissipates around the module. This unused heat also has an undesirable effect on the solar module’s performance causing its efficiency to decrease as the temperature rises. Our SolarTrio® module captures this unused heat converting it to usable heat energy, for hot water and space heating, while also regulating the temperature of the module.
